Funnus Maximus Ltd. has developed this policy to give you peace of mind about how we manage the information you give us online and through our apps.

We’ve tried to keep it simple.
There are lots of tech and legal terms that get thrown around when it comes to privacy policies, but we’ve done our best to keep it as simple as we can. If you have any questions after reading this policy, just contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
When we collect your information
Here are the situations where we collect personal information with you, what we collect, and why:
When you visit our website.
Our website automatically collects statistics and other information to improve our apps, manage our website, and help us with troubleshooting. This may include your web browser information, IP address, what device you visited our website from and what pages you visited.
When you write to us.
When you contact us through our website, by email, via our social media profiles, through the Feedback button in any of our apps, etc., we use your feedback to help us improve our apps and customer service.
We may also receive personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, mobile device information, which of our apps you use, your location, and any information that you intentionally share with us in your message to us.
When you join or participate in our loyalty program, the Maximus Club™.
Members of the Maximus Club get access to insider information about our apps, including the opportunity to beta-test our software before we launch it to the general public.
To deliver this experience, we require your name and email address, and we may request other personal information (such as your phone number, your mailing address, your country of residence, the mobile devices you use, your likes and dislikes, language preference, etc.) to help us improve our apps and provide a tailored experience to you.
When you use our apps.
When you use our apps, we may collect personal information from you in order to provide you with advertising and in order to collect analytics that we use to improve our apps. More information about this is explained below.
Our apps may also collect personal information in order to provide better in-app experiences to you. Here are just two examples, but this list is not exhaustive:
- RemiMoi and RemiMoi Pro. We parse the title of your reminder and send keywords to an external image library service, Pixabay. We do this in order to provide you with smart image suggestions that match each reminder.
- RemiMoi, RemiMoi Pro and RemiNote. We request access to your Contacts in order to more seamlessly send notes and reminders to your friends. You may deny permission in your phone’s settings and continue to use these apps without this feature.
In addition to this, when you connect one of our apps with Facebook, Game Center, or other social platforms, we may access your profile, including your username and friends list. We use this data to show you personalized content. For example, we might show a high score list with only your friends in it, or show your name or avatar inside of one of our games.
Note that at this time, none of our apps collect the precise location of your mobile device.
How we interact with Apple’s Game Center
By registering with Game Center on your device, you allow Funnus Maximus Ltd. to access certain information from your Game Center profile.
The information you allow us to access is affected by the privacy settings you and your friends establish directly in Game Center. You can control and find out more about these settings directly from Game Center.
For example, we may access and store information (such as but not limited to that outlined below), as allowed by you, Game Center and your preferences:
• your first and last name
• your Game Center ID
• the URL of your Game Center profile
• your user ID number, which is linked to publicly available information such as name and profile photo
• the user ID numbers and other public data for your friends
• the login email you provided to Game Center when you registered
• your gender
You may be able to specify what information is provided by Game Center to us by modifying the privacy preferences in your device settings.
When we share information with third parties
We may disclose your personal information:
• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with trusted parties who deliver services on our behalf (including Pixabay for RemiMoi's smart image suggestions and MailChimp for the mailing list administration of the Maximus Club program), do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have their own strong commitments to ensuring the privacy of all information we provide them;
• if Funnus Maximus Ltd. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information;
• to advertisers and third party advertising networks and analytics companies as described in the section below.
How we work with advertising and analytics companies
When you visit our websites, we may collect anonymous statistics to help us understand how our websites are used, such as frequency and duration of usage.
When you run our apps, we may gather anonymous usage statistics such as session length, country, and device type. This may include your personal advertising identifier for your iOS device. We may also gather in-game events such as how many times you play a particular level or how quickly you beat it.
We use this data to see how users are using our software and to find ways to improve our apps. Our in-app analytics are collected using Google Firebase, an analytics toolset.
We also work with advertisers and third party advertising networks, who need to know how you interact with advertising provided in our apps. Advertising allows us to offer many of our apps for free and allows us to keep prices low for our paid apps.
Advertisers and advertising networks use some of the information collected by our apps, including, but not limited to, your mobile phone number and the personal advertising identifier for your iOS device.
These third parties may also obtain anonymous information about other applications you’ve downloaded to your mobile device, the mobile websites you visit, your non-precise location information (e.g., your postal code), and other non-precise location information in order to help analyze and serve anonymous targeted advertising within the apps and elsewhere.
We may also share encrypted versions of information you have provided in order to enable our partners to append other available information about you for analysis or advertising-related use.
How you can opt-out of us collecting your information
You can easily stop all collection of information by a particular Funnus Maximus app by uninstalling that app. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
If you have shared information with us by writing to us or via the Maximus Club, you can request to opt-out via email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line marked “Privacy Opt-Out Request”.
How we manage, retain and secure your data
We will retain user-provided data for as long as you use our apps and for a reasonable time thereafter. Information that is automatically collected may be kept for up to 24 months and we may thereafter store it in aggregate.
How we keep your data safe.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information that we process and maintain.
For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our apps.
Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
Data flow around the world.
If you are located outside Canada, you understand that we may transfer personal information to and process it in Canada. If you are located in the European Union, you freely consent to the transfer of personal information outside of the European Union.
Deleting your personal information.
If you’d like us to delete personal information that you have provided via one of our apps, please contact us at email@example.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some of this information may be required in order for our apps to function properly.
How we protect children
We do not use our website or any of our apps to knowingly solicit data from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
